Abstract

The increasing growth of conventional banks and Syariah banks makes the level of competition more intense in the search for customers. With the competition occurring, banks must develop effective strategies so that these banks can be attracted by the public and are trusted to collect and channel the funds they have. An important strategy is the marketing strategy, because marketing is the most dynamic field in the management area. In addition, the marketing strategy is one way to be able to introduce the products owned by Syariah Banks so that these products can be known to the wider community.


             This study aims to find out the marketing strategies carried out at the Bank Financing Syariah Babel Branch Sungailiat, the most appropriate strategy in increasing the number of murabahah financing customers and the factors that influence the increase in the number of murabahah financing customers. The research method used in completing this Final Project is by direct observation, library research and interviews.


             The results of the study explain that the marketing strategy is carried out to increase the number of murabahah financing customers not far from the elements of marketing mix, namely Place, roduct, Price and Promotion. The most appropriate strategy is a promotional strategy that is in the advertising method and personal selling. This method is used because it is very effective for marketers and customers to communicate. And the factors that influence the increase in the number of murabahah financing customers consist of marketing and promotion, services to customers, customer loyalty and competition between banks.
