AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Here are the manuscript writing guidelines for the Jurnal Ilmiah Niaga Bisnis Elektronik (JINBE), where authors are fully responsible for the content of the manuscript and the manuscript must not have been previously published. The reference list should be in numerical order starting from 1, 2, 3, and so on.
In short, the entire Journal Writing Guide for authors is provided in the form of the following Check List:
Title and Researcher Names Section [Written with single spacing and one column]
- The title must be clear, concise, short, and informative, reflecting the content of the article, with a maximum of 15 words, font size 18pt, bold, and in capital letters.
- The author's name must be written clearly without titles, in Times New Roman font size 11pt.
Abstract [Times New Roman, 10pt, 1 spacing, Italic]
The abstract should summarize the background, research objectives, methods, findings, and main conclusions of the paper. It should be written in English, with left-right alignment. The word "Abstract" as a title should be written in Times New Roman, 10-point, bold, left-aligned, with the first letter capitalized. The text of the abstract should be in Times New Roman, 10-point, single-spaced, with a maximum of approximately 250 words.
Keywords
Keywords should consist of 3–5 words/phrases, which should be a subset of the manuscript's title and separated by commas.
Manuscript Structure [Times New Roman, 10pt, 1 spacing]
The manuscript should be written in the following structure:
- Introduction
- Theoretical Framework (usually includes the theories underlying the variables being studied)
- Research Methodology (may include analysis, architecture, methods used to solve problems, implementation)
- Discussion
- Conclusion (including conclusions and research suggestions)
- References
The introduction should answer the following questions: (1) Background, (2) A brief literature review on related research, (3) Why this research is conducted, and (4) Research objectives. State-of-the-art, gap analysis, and novelty should be clear here. Avoid discussing general literature reviews and definitions.
Research Methodology
Explain the preparation methods and characterization techniques used. Provide brief but accurate details, such as size, volume, replication, and processing techniques. For new methods, explain them in detail so other researchers can replicate the experiment. Established methods can be explained by citing references [4-6].
Manuscript Length
The manuscript should be written on A4-sized paper with a minimum of 7 pages (excluding references) and a maximum of 15 pages, including tables and figures, following the provided template.
Results and Discussion
The results section should present the research findings in a logical order to form a coherent story. It should show facts/data without discussing the results. Tables and figures can be used but avoid repeating the same data in figures, tables, and text. To clarify descriptions, use subheadings if necessary.
The discussion should explain the fundamental relationships and generalizations shown by the results. The discussion should answer the research questions. If there are questionable results, present them objectively.
Manuscript Layout
A simple way to create the layout is by directly following this guide. It is advised not to use bullets or numbered lists (*, ?, etc.) in the manuscript's discussion and avoid leaving blank sections on the page.
To ensure the manuscript is processed quickly by the editor, make sure it follows this guide carefully.
Tables
Tables should be numbered sequentially (Table 1, etc.). The title of the table should be placed above the table and centered, without bold or colored text. The font size for both the title and the content should be 9pt. Tables must be referenced in the text. There should be no vertical lines in the table.
Figures
Figures should be numbered sequentially (Figure 1, etc.). The title of the figure should be placed above the figure and centered. The font size for the figure title should be 9pt. Figures must be referenced in the text.
Equations
Equations should be written clearly using an equation editor, numbered with indices, and the variable explanations should be written in paragraph form, not as a list.
Page Specifications
Use Times New Roman font for the entire manuscript, with the font size as indicated in this guide. The line spacing should be single, and the text should be justified. The page size should be A4 (210 mm x 297 mm). The page margins should be 25 mm top-bottom, left, and right. A simple way to write the manuscript is to use the provided Journal Template.
Conclusion
The conclusion should not contain references. It should present the facts obtained and directly address the research problem or objectives (not a discussion). It may state possible applications, implications, and appropriate speculations. If necessary, provide suggestions for future research. The conclusion should be written in paragraph form, not as numbered points.
References
It is recommended to use tools like Mendeley/Zotero for reference management. All references listed must be cited in the manuscript. At least 10 primary and recent references (within the last 5 years) should be included. References should be written in 10pt font size.
