Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design standard operating procedures and knowing the impact of a role ambiguity in improving performance at Universitas Bangka Belitung in the procuring section. This research is a qualitative research using primary data obtained directly from Universitas Bangka Belitung. The data techniques in this study were through interviews, observation, and documentation. The selection of informants in this study was done by selecting the informants whose criteria were selected by the researchers considered to understand the problem being studied as formulated in the research statement.

The results of this study indicate the design of standard operating procedures and the impact of role ambiguity. The cycle of procurement of consumable goods and procurement work has been running quite well and effectively even though some of its employees have to work in concurrent positions, and the impact caused by the existence of these dual positions is also quite positive.
