ANALISIS DISPARITAS PEREKONOMIAN ANTAR PULAU BESAR DI INDONESIA TAHUN 2013-2017

Abstract

         This Study is trying to aim the determine of economic disparity rate based on major Islands in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to provide better data and understanding about Indonesian economic disparity The research was conducted by using an Economic Growth Analysis, Economic Contribution Analysis, measurement along with Absolute Comparison, Entrophy Thiel Disparity Index Method and Williamson Disparity Index Method. The results of economic growth analysis show that economic growth was climbing from all major island in Indonesia, Sulawesi had the most improvement in economic growth with 7,37 % average growth. The economic contribution analysis shows java has the most contribution with 57.96 % average contribution from other major islands. Absolute comparison shows there is an economic shift in the economic structure from just one island (Bali & Nusa Tenggara: from quadrant I to quadrant IV). The results of Williamson Method show the Economic Disparity relatively decreasing in all major islands except Java that covers all the decreasing from other major island. The Entrophy Thiel Index Method shows Economic Disparity relatively increasing in every major island except Java. This condition shows that Economic Disparity in Indonesia actually Worstened during 2013-2017.
